Most regrets start with four words: “If only I knew.”
When I was a kid, my school used to give us pickles with lunch. I thought they looked disgusting, so every time…I gave mine away.
Then one day, I finally tried one. And guess what? I loved it.
I remember thinking: “Man…if only I knew sooner.”
And honestly, there are so many areas in life where we say the same thing.
Especially when it comes to faith.
Some people avoid prayer.
Avoid God’s Word.
Avoid going deeper with Him.
Not because God isn’t good…but because they don’t realize how much of a blessing He truly is.
That’s why Psalm 34:8 says: “Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.”
Years later, many people realize: peace was available, wisdom was available, purpose was available…and wish they had pursued it sooner.
So not only in your faith, but in every area of life, take an active approach to learning, growing, and trying things that may benefit you.
The Wise Believer doesn’t delay discovery…they pursue wisdom early. Because the longer they wait…the longer they live without.
