At this moment, there is something you think is impossible.

Not impossible for others, but impossible for you.

It might be getting married, living in your own home, or earning a certain income.

Whatever it is, your current life makes it hard to imagine.

But what if I told you your belief about what’s impossible for you is a lie?

What if, from childhood, you were conditioned to limit what God made possible for you?

It’s like a movie I watched called Room. 

A little boy grew up in a small room, believing it was the entire world because it’s all he’s ever known. 

His mom, who was trapped in the room with him, told him stories to protect him. But when he turned five, she finally told him the truth: there’s a whole world beyond the room. 

At first, he doesn’t believe her. Not because she was wrong, but because his beliefs were limited by his experience. 

Only when he trusts her does he escape… and discover how much bigger reality really is.

In a sense, we’ve all grown up in a room. And for many of us, it was a small room.

People with good intentions throughout our lives told us things, thinking they were protecting us, when they were actually limiting our beliefs.

But know this truth: you can do and experience much more than what you were made to believe. 

The Bible says God is able “to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us” (Ephesians 3:20 NIV).

So what limits will you challenge this year? What area of your life will you trust God to elevate?

The wise believer doesn’t just accept life as it is, but believes God can do more through the power at work within them.
