Chances are, you are not where you want to be in life right now.
From childhood, you might have had a vision for your life at this stage, yet despite your best efforts, that vision seems further and further away.
But what if I told you that you might be exactly where God wants you to be. That the vision you have may be His will, and the season you’re in is actually preparation.
This was the case for David.
After being anointed to be the new king of Israel, nothing changed immediately. He was still shepherding his father’s sheep, even fighting off the occasional lion and bear to protect them.
But once he took the throne, you can see how those experiences added up.
Fighting the lions and bears gave him the skill and confidence to defeat Goliath. Defeating Goliath led to a military position of power and influence.
And when it was time for a new king, he was the obvious choice.
It’ll likely be the same for you.
When you find yourself living the vision God gave you, you’ll look back and see how some of the things you didn’t like led to it.
Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” (KJV).
So, while your now may seem all bad, The Wise Believer trusts the process, understanding that they’ll be glad.
