You Might Not Like God’s Plan For You

Watch The Video

You’ve heard it many times.

God created you with a purpose. He has a plan for your life.

But what you rarely hear is that you might not like it.

Thinking that God’s plan for you must be something you are happy to do can lead you astray.

Consider the response of some of the biblical figures God called.

Sent to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, Moses made many excuses as to why he couldn’t do it.

Similarly, Jeremiah, when called to be a prophet, said he was too young and couldn’t speak.

We even see Jesus before his crucifixion, asking to escape it if it were possible.

That direction you keep avoiding because it’ll take you out of your comfort zone might be the very thing God is calling you to do.

As I explain in my book Answer The Call, at the end of it all, you want to hear “well done, good and faithful servant”.

It’s possible to do many good things, yet still miss the specific things God called you to do.

So, if you always thought you had to be happy with God’s plan for you, think again.

The Wise Believer follows God’s plan not because they like it, but because they are called to it.
