God Won’t Let Your Pain Go To Waste | Romans 8:28

Watch The Video

Ask any Christian who has gone through a painful experience, and many of them will tell you the same thing. It wasn’t pleasant going through it. They were confused…lost…unable to see a way out.

But in the end, something surprising emerged. Something they could never see while they were in the valley. In some strange way, the painful experience became a blessing.

The Bible says, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28 NIV).

No matter what shape or form painful experiences come in… setbacks, accidents, betrayal, God doesn’t let any of it go to waste.

In ways you only later come to appreciate, He uses them for your good.

Ask Joseph. He was falsely accused of sexual assault and found himself in prison for 2 years. Betrayed and forgotten, he probably started to lose hope.

But through it all, God had a plan. When the time was right, God used the connection Joseph made in prison to be the very thing that raised him to power.

So, don’t forget the last time God brought you out.  Don’t forget how the last struggle made you stronger.

Remember, the wise believer doesn’t rebuke the pain; they grow through it and trust God to bring the gain.
